Interreg III was one of the four programmes funded through the EU's Community Initiatives in the 2000-2006 period. For the 2007-2013 period, this programme has been upgraded to be one of the three main objectives; Objective 3: European Territorial Co-operation - otherwise known as Interreg IV. Interreg IV is in fact a trans-national fund hidden within the Structural Funds, as one of the key requirements for projects is that there be partners from at least two countries. There are three strands to Interreg IV, and sub-strands within two of the main strands. Everywhere in the UK is eligible for at least two of these strands or sub-strands. This seminar will provide background information on the new programme, examples of previously funded cultural projects, and information on the deadlines, application process and finding partners. It is being presented with input from many of the agencies who manage the various strands and sub-strands of the programme, and will provide an opportunity to meet some of these key contacts. | ||
