New deadlines for the Culture Programme just announced: 1 October 2008 for Multiannual Projects and Cooperation Projects; 1 February 2009 for Literary Translation Projects; 1 May 2009 for Cultural Cooperation Projects with Third Countries; 1 November 2008 for Networks, Festivals and Ambassadors. June Activity

With the official call for 2009 due to be announced any day, June will see the Euclid team planning a series of Culture Programme Workshops across the country to assist with the application process. Look out for a special Alert announcing the deadline. There will also be a Cultureuro Seminar in Sheffield with others (York, Southampton, London, Cardiff, Newcastle and Glasgow) being organised for July.

Geoffrey Brown, Director of Euclid, will be travelling to Ljubljana for a meeting of all EU Cultural Contact Points and to Budapest for one of the Culture Programme Information Days. Geoffrey will also be attending the annual "Americans for the Arts" conference in Philadelphia.
