Euclid is offering a number of Know Brexit / EU Funding events in 2017. Forthcoming events will be in Leicester on 24 March, Bournemouth on 28 March, London on 12 April, and Brighton on 25 April. The Brexit part of these events aim to help the arts and culture sector understand the implications of Brexit and to help anyone who wants to campaign to ensure that the final Brexit deal has minimal negative impact on the sector. This will include a) an update of Brexit news and the implications for the arts & culture sector, and b) a platform to discuss the issues of most concern to the sector and ways of lobbying for the voice of the sector to be heard during the next 2 years of Brexit negotiations. The EU Funding part will provide an overview of the likely EU opportunities from 2017-19, including Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Europe for Citizens, Horizon 2020, Interreg and the Structural & Investment Funds. The Leicester and Brighton events on 23 March and 25 April are both free. The fee to attend the other events is £15 but they are free to those who are Connexus members (£25 per annum – see www.culture.info for information). All events will start at 2pm and will end around 4.30pm – except for the Leicester event which is from 4.30-6.30pm. You can book a place by selecting the relevant event from the menu on the left side of this website. Other dates and venues will be announced shortly. For more information, or if you would like to host one of these meetings (in return, you will receive free places for your staff), email firstname.lastname@example.org. The KNOW BREXIT website (www.knowbrexit.eu) will provide news, resources, a regular blog and a platform where people can sign up to express their views on the Brexit arrangements.
